A Lancaster from 630 Squadron of the Royal Air Force

Article on a Lancaster bomber which crashed near the French villages of Tramont Emy and Tramont Lassus on the night of July 24/25, 1944. One of the two men who died in the crash was Pilot Officer Ross William Lough of Belleville, Ontario.

A note on the back identifies Raymond Chambers in the back row, second from right and Bill Fitchett in the second row from the top, second from right. Raymond Hunter Chambers of Stirling was drafted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force on October 13th, 1917 and William James Fitchett of Tweed was drafted on October 16th, 1917.
