File contains original Journal, dated 24-October-1849 in Belleville of the co-partnership and commencement of business between Thomas Wills and C.G. LeVesconte, as apothecaries and druggists, under the name of C.G. Levesconte Co. also to include Real Estate transactions and Merchandisers.

Tweed : early history

File contains a typescript copy of a history of the community of Tweed from 1850-ca. 1964. Also present are: i) photocopies of printed extracts from the Hastings Directory, 1864-1865, 1889 ii) a letter ca. 1966 to Gerald Boyce concerning the Woodcock Family of Tweed iii) several newspaper clippings concerning the early history of Tweed.

File contains original documents, presented to the Hastings County Historical Society in 1960; Biographical sketch written on 22-September-1869 covers the years 1862 to 1869 when Willson was teaching school in the southern part of Hastings County; educational papers; legal papers; correspondence and a poem entitled "To The Mohawks".
