The Halloway Orange Lodge # 251 was a fraternal organization in Halloway, Quinte West (it was Hastings County until 1998). The Lodge met at Wallbridge's Mills on the second Tuesday of each month.

Previously in the possession of Don MacDonald, secretary of the Lodge.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Donated by Irene Batemen in March 1989. Don MacDonald worked for her father.

This fonds is composed of records from the Halloway Loyal Orange Lodge #251. Four folders each contain a volume ranging from 1859-1875, 1873-1879, 1880-1883 and 1875-1922 respectively. Each of these volumes contains minutes, accounts, members lists and attendance.
