3. a letter of administration issued by the Surrogate Court concerning the estate of Matilda Jane Thomson, issued 6 April 1892

File contains a brief biography of H.A. Engelhardt (1830-1897): Landscape Designer written by Pleasance Crawford of Toronto. Henry A. Englehardt designer of Belleville Cemetery. The file also contains a copy of a newspaper article from the Daily Intelligencer dated January 20, 1874 regarding an annual meeting of the Belleville Cemetery Company.

The file contains an email from Ken Brown, Archives, Deseronto Public Library. The email contains a "local notice" from the Feb 17, 1893 issue of the Tribune and is about Peter Lennahan of Tyendinaga being injured while enroute from Tyendinaga to Belleville with a load of wood.

The file contains two newspaper obituaries for Betsy Dewar Boyce (born 27 March 1913, died 12 August 2007), copies of the memorial service, a newspaper article titled "Boyce remembered for love of history, volunteerism" and the address given at the Remembrance service on 21 September 2007.

This file contains original copies of the Holbert Family Papers including: mortgages, deeds, insurance policies, correspondence, extension agreement, Sheriff's notice, indenture and abstract, dating from 1895 to 1925. Names include Phoebe Holbert, William Holbert, James Holbert, J. Wesley Holbert, Mouck and Geen.

File contains matriculation certificates "Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario" as well as death notice for Dr. Charles M. Reeves, Tweed Dentist born in Belleville ca. 1876

File contains wedding and obituary announcements, as well as a tax receipt for the Town of Belleville (1875) and personal accounts booklet. Donated by Maud Reeves of Belleville 1960.

The file contains a letter from Philippa Faulkner, dated 22 December 1991 and addressed to the Hastings County Historical Society in Belleville. There is a subsequent response to Mrs. Faulkner from the then president of the society Bernard Wright.
