Administrative history

The Deseronto High School was designed by architect Thomas Hanley. The Rathbun Company was awarded the construction contract and work began in June 1889. The school opened in January 1890 and was in operation until 1963.

Archival history

Donated to the Deseronto Archives in August 2014 by Ray MacDonald.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Transferred to the Community Archives in September 2016.
