Biografie
Edith Mary Bristol was born in Norwich, England in 1885, the daughter of Charles Docksey and Louisa H. Crocker. The family moved to Hespeler, Ontario, where she and her siblings got work at Forbes Mill. She went to Vancouver for a holiday and that is where she met and married her husband, Austin Wellington Bristol. They were married on October 7, 1977. Moving east, they bought a farm at Mountain View where they farmed for twenty-five to thirty years. Mrs. Bristol was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church and a member of the Women's Guild there. She was also a fifty-year member of Quinte Chapter 59 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She died on October 7, 1977.
