The file contains a newspaper article from the Ontario Intelligencer. It is a letter to the Editor from T.G. Wrightmeyer about the proposition by the then Mayor Haig to change the name of Zwick's Island. The article gives the history of this parcel of land dating back to 1790 given to Captain Phillip Zwick and subsequent generations.
The file contains an original note addressed to William Walbridge from William Zwick. The note is dated 1827 in Belleville.

File contain the newspaper obituary for Eugene Claude Young, born 23-November-1882 and died 23-June-1963. Mr. Young was born in Belleville, was the founding member of the Bay of Quinte Branch of the U.E.L. Association, he lived in Wellington at the time of his death and is buried in Zion Hill Cemetery in Thurlow Twsp.

The file also contains newspaper clippings from 1955 about the celebrations for Beniah Young's 101st birthday (January 12, 1955) and his obituary (November 2, 1955). Mr. Ben Young was born in Roblin's Mills, Prince Edward County and died in Trenton, Ontario. He is buried in Carrying Place Cemetery. Mr. Beniah Young was a decedent of George & Mary Lawrence Young.
File contains an original copy of the Order of Service for the Memorial Service (April 23, 1916) for Horace Eugene Yeomans killed in action in France in 1916. It also contains two newspaper articles pertaining to his death and memorial service.
