Beth Green was born in Hartney, Manitoba to Reginald J. Mckenzie and Harriet V. Well Wood on 25th January 1924. She married Geoffrey W. Green in 1949. They lived in Quebec and in Fort William (later Thunder Bay) and Clarkson, Ontario and moved to Belleville, Ontario, in 1971. In Belleville Beth worked part-time in the reference room of Belleville Public Library and became a member of the Hastings County Historical Society. She played an active role in the Society's Building Research Committee and chairing the Archives Committee. She died on 6 January 2017.

The Quinte Living Centre was established in 1973 as a non-denominational outreach project of Bridge Street United Church in Belleville, Ontario. It was incorporated as a registered non-profit corporation in 1979. It provides housing for senior citizens in Front Street, Belleville.

Charles Arthur Holgate was born on September 22, 1892 in Huntingdon Township, Hastings County. He was the son of Charles Herbert Holgate and Della Haight. Mr. Holgate was a miller in Cannifton where he lived most of his life. He married Myrtle Alice Winsor on December 29, 1915 in Sidney, Hastings County. He was a member of St. Marks United Church in Cannifton. He died on May 18, 1976.

Fred Mather Carscallen was born on March 23, 1901 in Thurlow, Hastings County. He was the son of John Edward Carscallen and Anna Louisa Hall. He married Geraldine Alma Garrison on August 30, 1922. Mr. Carscallen retired from the International Harvester Company of Canada. He was a member of Bridge Street United Church and Temple Lodge No. 666, and a life member of the Belleville Shrine Club as well as the Ramses Temple of Toronto. He died on November 29, 1985.
